Budding Quilters?

Oh Sunday my granddaughters walked around my house hand sewing. lol The older one is learning to sew in art class and of course the younger one had to follow in her footsteps.

What Took So Long?

This was one of those projects that fought me all the way. It took me forever to get it done and it's a simple project! Anyway, I didn't do justice to my sister's pattern but this is my version.

Frivilous Friday

My grandsons and their Halloween costumes. Jack was (is!) a Huskers fan ready to take on all the CU fans. Robbie (our clown) was a break dancing dirt biker.

Helping hand

Yesterday Sally and I helped an old "quilting" friend arrange some blocks on my design wall. She has spent months making these blocks and now she's ready to assemble the quilt top but was at a loss as to how to arrange them. I hope we helped! Her name is Mary.

Microwave bowl holder

Another fun and fast Christmas gift. It's for use when you heat up something in the microwave. It's fitted and reversible. This is a great idea for my husband who usually uses a pot holder. You can just grab the corners and not get burned.

Pumpkin Cradle?

This little pumpkin needed something so I whipped up a Halloween version of the candle cradle. :-)
